My work is focused around lighting, furniture, and home decor. I love material. I love geometry. I love bold motifs. I love variation. I love construction. Every part of the fabrication process satisfies a side of me that is an inherent necessity. The pure joy of using tools is a huge driving force behind why my objects look and feel the way they do. My methods of incorporating materials into the composition is determined largely by the job they require, whether it’s aesthetics, function, or both. I believe that materials are tools, and every tool has a purpose. By using materials in this way, I can assign forms to the materials that would suit them best. Being confident in all processes and materials is something I pride myself on more than any other facet of my abilities. Limiting the type of objects I make would only hinder my desire to do what comes most natural. I am committed to only high quality objects that will last for generations.
